1: I’m seriously learning to play guitar now and since your Guitar tips have come my way it’s helping me along very much. Keep up the good work! I Have always had an interest in bass also, but have had not played.
2: I am very sure that the Decoding Bass Guitar DVD would be very
important in learning to play that much Quicker, if it,s any like
your Guitar tips have been. And thanks again.
necessary
Have been playing guitar for a long time, but never really studied the theory. Have learned a lot just picking up on your mini lessons.(for Claude) Thanx. Also love to mess with the bass.
Woody
1- when to drive and when to coast?.
2- Hands on ( visual learning does wonders for me ) Plus, I’m a good guy and I never win nothin.
I needed to know how to play the bass guitar without looking at the chords.
My goal is to be able to play the bass fluently and solidly by using your know how on the subject.
1. What is the best and most versitile way to pluck, like which fingers and techniques do you suggest?
2. I learn best by watching and emulating what I see. Therefore I believe the DVD is the best way for me to learn. Plus, with a DVD you can slow down and repeat sequences over and over again which maximizes learning and gives the student control and flexibility.
1. I’m a total novice – how do you determine what to play when you’re “winging” it with others.
2. I need the DVD to help me achieve my goal of learning to play the bass.
if my drunkin buddy who has absolutely no clue how to play the bass yet can pull off some nice riffs so can i with a little help and practice a scale or something to show this guy he is not the only one and you gotta love to feel that bass punch
1. Love playing bass for a little over 2 years now- but there are times that i am still missing a note or two here and there… the block seems so incomplete!
2. I learned best by watching and playing along CDs or concert DVDs
and with the help of this DVD i’m pretty sure it will help me unlock this “missing note or two”
Hi Jonathan,
1) What makes the bass guitar such a key component of the rhythm section of the band?
2) I’ve only recently decided to learn how to play the guitar but I find myself finger tapping to the bass lines of the songs I hear. Would be nice to have the dvd instructional video for some direction.
Thanks,
Richard
Hey Jonathan, you’ll never believe it, I guess it’s just my luck, but my computer went down and by the time I got it up and running again it was after midnight, but I put in for the freebie anyway, I have a bass but never could figure out what it was all about, take care…Bert.
